Overview

Jagger Hims Limited, was founded in 1987 and provides environmental consulting services in engineering and geoscience.

Our head office is located in Newmarket, Ontario with branch offices in Brantford, Collingwood, Peterborough, St. Catharines, and Windsor. Jagger Hims Inc. provides services in the United States from our Windsor location.

We provide services in waste management, water resource management, minerals and aggregate resources, waste water management, geo-environmental engineering, property assessment and remediation, geomatics and modelling, biosolids, and biological services.

Developed through professional work are relationships with a strong network of highly respected companies. By forming alliances with these experts, Jagger Hims Limited can provide full-service solutions to our clients. Our strategic alliance partner is Niagara-based Integrated Municipal Services (IMS).

Approximately 80% of our work is from repeat clients. Some of our long-term clients have been with us for in excess of 15 years.

Staff

Our team of professionals includes geoscientists, engineers, scientists, technicians, technologists, GIS and CAD specialists and administrative support staff. Staff experience ranges from more than 40 years to entry level. As a firm, we are committed to the on-going training and professional development of our staff which totals more than 80.

Service

Each client is assigned to a senior technical professional who is responsible for the overall service to that client. For clients who have multiple projects, we also assign a second professional whom the client can contact if a problem arises when the prime client manager is not available. As well, each project is assigned to a technical professional who oversees the technical, financial and scheduling aspects of the project. The project manager will maintain proper communication, both internal and external, and normally is responsible for quality control and internal peer review of the work before it is released by the Firm. Other senior staff may be involved with the peer review process.

Jagger Hims Limited employs an extensive inventory of modern equipment for use in field data acquisition, including:

• Vehicles for accessing off-road locations in a variety of terrain and weather conditions.
• Field instruments for chemical analyses, testing, and real-time monitoring.
• Specialized sampling equipment for soil, rock, water, air, and building materials.
• Manual and remote data acquisition systems.
• Computerized data analyses and simulation systems, as well as the use of CAD technology for drafting and design, round out our service package.
